A rehabilitation unit for handicapped children is under construction

Syria's Ministry of Health on Tuesday signed an agreement with Karim Reda Saeed, private Charity Foundation, to build a unit for rehabilitation of handicapped children at Ibn Annafis Medical Compound.
Minister of Health, Iyad Shatti, and Handicap Programs Coordinator, Amal Nahas, inked the accord which allows the Ministry to provide the suitable site to construct the unite. The Ministry is to rehabilitate handicapped children at the compound and to give the needed equipment while the Charity Foundation is to bring trainers and instructors to implement programs in this respect. The unit will be set off next October with the qualification of about 150 trainers.
