Fire opened at one American diplomatic car in Jeddah

The American embassy in Riyadh said that armed men opened fire at one American diplomatic car in Jeddah on Monday and that no one was hurt.
One official in the embassy said that the fire was opened on the car which belongs to the consulate in Gaza and this resulted in slight damages, but he gave no information on the passengers of the car nor their number.
The spokesman added that the incident had no effect on the common daily activities in the Consulate and the embassy, adding that they will open their doors to the public today, Tuesday.
Security sources in Riyadh said that unidentified persons opened fire at the car, adding it was carrying one passenger in addition to its driver and that no one of hurt.
One official at the ministry of the interior said that the car was carrying one American staying in the kingdom and that when fire was opened at the car from a small pistol, it was running out of a building for a bank near the consulate and the fire resulted in the car back window breakage.
