Lahoud: Lebanon will never bargain sovereignty
Lebanon-Syria, Politics, 8/31/2004

Lebanese President Emil Lahoud underlined that Lebanon would never bargain on its sovereignty, asserting that his country in coordination with Syria could prove that commitment to the legitimate rights is the only means for restoring them.

He added that Lebanese strategy over the past six years has aimed at protecting the Lebanese national interests, a matter that annoyed Israel and those who support it provoking them to practice pressure to pass their plans, the latest of which is denying the Palestinians' right to return home.
