On the Syrian-Jordanian Free Zone Company

The Syrian-Jordanian Free Zone Co. is one of the joint Arab action fruits. It was founded in 2002 as a limited liability company that runs its business in Syria and Jordan with a capital of 60 millions S.P.

The company aims at activating the movement of Arab economic integration, supporting the economy and achieving the trade and industry development.

The Free Zone is distinguished by its site that is very close to the world markets, the political and stable conditions. It is situated along the Syrian- Jordanian borders. It is 120 KM to the south of Damascus and 90 KM to the north of the Jordanian capital of Amman.

The importance of the company comes from the two states' important roles and positions. Syria is the wide route to transport the goods among countries of Europe, Asia and Africa in addition to its modern ports on the Mediterranean. Jordan is the country which links among ports of Mediterranean, gulf states, Saudi Arabia and Iraq.

One of the companies' goals is to provide a suitable environment to attract investments in different economic sectors and to contribute to extending service to the project of economic and investment development, in addition to investing the natural and human resources in both states.

To attract investments, the company extends a number of services and facilities, such as providing the investors with public services and necessary infrastructure to cover their needs.

The administration of the Syrian-Jordanian Free Zone seeks to enhance its business by going beyond routine, and it will facilitate measures and continue issues related to investment.
