Azhar condemns kidnapping two French journalists

The Mosque of al-Azhar in the Egyptian capital of Cairo Monday condemned kidnapping of the two French journalist by one of the armed groups in Iraq. The Permanent Committee of the Heavenly Religions in Azhar said in a statement that Islam rejects any aggression on innocent civilians or any violation of basic human freedoms.
The Committee appealed to the kidnappers to immediately release the two journalists.
