Egyptian antiques exhibition in France

Egypt's Prime Minister Ahmed Nazif approved an exhibition of the Egyptian antiquities in France on the fringes of the 9th Egyptology Conference due on 6-12 September 2004. Minister of Culture, Frouq Hosni said that the one-month-long exhibition showcases 26 antiques.
Secretary General of the Supreme Council of Antiquities, Zahi Hawas said that the French side will provide 100,000 euros, 30 invitations to the inauguration of the exhibition and 9 scholarships to museum techniques for 3 months.
$ 30 million insurance policy will be signed for the antiques since their leave Cairo until they return home.
