Palestine-India, Politics, 8/25/2004
Grandson of Indian Late Great Leader, Mahatma Ghandi, on Tuesday condemned the racial separation wall that Israel is building in the West Bank, describing it as "an absolute evil."
Ghandi, who is visiting Jordan heading a delegation on peace and non-violence, called on the international community to shoulder responsibility through preventing the building of this wall that destroys the Palestinians' hope in the establishment of their independent state.
For his part, Jordanian Foreign Minister Marwan Muasher reiterated his country's condemnation to this wall asserting that it consecrates the occupation and destroys their hope in the establishment of their independent state.
