Moussa asks Arab states to launch Darfur popular fund-raising campaigns

Arab League Secretary General Amr Moussa called upon the Arab governments to start mass media campaigns on a popular fund- raising for the inhabitants of Darfur, west of Sudan.
Speaking to reporters Thursday, Moussa announced opening two bank accounts in Banque de Caire in both the Egyptian pound and American dollar for popular donations for the conflict-hit western Sudan region.
