Iran threatens to strike Dimona reactor if Israel attacks it
Iran-Israel, Politics, 8/19/2004
The commander of the Iranian revolution guards has warned that his country will attack the Israeli Dimona reactor, if Tel Aviv will attack the Iranian nuclear Bushaher reactor.
Gen. Muhammad Baqer Zu al-Qader said in press statements that " should Israel launch one missile against Bushaher, then it has to forget for ever Dimona reactor where it produces and stockpiles atomic weapons." He stressed that " Israel will be responsible for the catastrophic consequences of such acts.
Baqer considered that Israel is unable to attack Iran. He said that Israel's threats are mere campaigning due to what he described "internal splits in the Zionist regime and its military, strategic and geo graphical fragility." He added that Israel seeks to prohibit his country from "its granted for right to get nuclear technologies for peaceful purposes." The Israeli intelligence estimated that Tehran can own the nuclear weapons by the fall of 2007. Tel Aviv on July 28 tested its anti missile system " Arrow 3" which was developed with American aid with its clear objective to confront an Iranian attack.
