Mohie-Eddin: Public sector insurance companies must hone their performance

Minister of Investment Dr. Mahmoud Mohie-Eddin, who met yesterday with officials from public sector insurance companies, stressed that these companies must hone their performance in order to compete with foreign insurance companies, locally and internationally.

Assistant Secretary-General of the Syndicate for Banks and Insurance Companies Ismail Kerar, who attended the meeting, said that the Minister of Investment has agreed in principle to raise the bonuses of public sector insurance employees to 7 % of their basic salaries.
