Al-Assad confers with Lebanese dignitaries

Syria's President Bashar al-Assad received Sunday morning Lebanese Former Prime Minister Salim al-Hoss. Talks during the meeting dealt with the situations in the region and issues of mutual interest for the two states Syria and Lebanon.
Later, President al-Assad received Lebanese Minister of Public Works and Transport Mohammad Najib Mikati. Both sides discussed issues of mutual interest.
