Al-Qassam groups claim responsibility for attacking an Israeli settlement to the south of Gaza

Ezz Eddine al-Qassam groups, the military wing of the Hamas movement claimed responsibility for firing three missiles targeting Atsamouna settlement inside Ghoush Katif complex to the south of Gaza.
In a statement, the groups said that missiles of Qassam 2 type and members of the group fired the missiles yesterday and withdrew safely.
Israeli security sources admitted the attack and said that one of the two missiles hit mistakenly the electricity and this resulted in cutting the electricity grid from Atsamouna settlement.
In an earlier development, news reports in Gaza said that the Palestinian child Nasim Salman al-Barhoum ( 8 year old) died of wounds he had last Friday after the Israeli forces attacked al-Mighraqa quarters to the south of Gaza.
Two young Palestinians were also injured -- one of them was inside his house in al-Shouth quarters to the south of Rafah city -- after they were exposed to fire by the occupation forces which incurred in the said quarters yesterday at dawn. Witnesses said the Israeli forces demolished 15 houses in the area and leveled vast areas of lands before withdrawal.
Witnesses also said that the occupation forces detained yesterday at dawn 8 Palestinians in al-Qarrara area to the north of Khan Younis city after military bulldozers carried out vast leveling areas.
In the West Bank, Israeli military forces incurred in the old town of Nablus. News reports said that part of these forces broke into al-Qasaba quarters and confrontations are taking place between the occupation soldiers and the citizens.
Three Israeli settlers were injured by an armed attack that targeted a bus they were running to the east of Qalqilya city. Al-Aqsa groups of the Fatah movement said that one of its fighters attacked the bus while the occupation forces said it introduced large forces to the area.
In another development, bulldozers of the Israeli army demolished several old and historical houses in al-Khalil ( Hebron) city at an order to destroy it issued several months ago.
