Syrian - Jordanian transport agreement signed

Syria and Jordan agreed during the meeting of the Syrian-Jordanian Joint Committee for Transport in Amman yesterday on reciprocal treatment of the trucks between the two states with regard to fees that are collected by the authorities of both states.

Secretary General of the Jordanian Transport Ministry, Ala Batayneh, told reporters that there was agreement of the view points of both countries on the necessity to reconsider the reality of transport regarding the fees and procedures as a whole, and to discuss the issue of joint passengers and goods transport between them.
