Al-Ramadi governor resigns after his sons were kidnapped

The governor of al-Ramadi on Wednesday resigned from his post after kidnappers conditioned that for the release of three of his sons.
Abdul Kaim Barjas said he took this decision after the release of his sons aging between 10 to 30 year old, one week after their kidnapping in Falluja. He added they he did not pay a ransom but responded to the demands of the kidnappers to resign from his post.
Musil witnessed on Wednesday fierce clashes since the Ameican invasion unidentified gunmen and members of the Iraqi police resulted in killing 12 Iraqis and wounding other 38.
News reports in the city said that Sayed Khaled known as " Seido," cousin of the leader of Ansar al-Islam, al-Mulla Kreiker, was among the killed. The Iraqi police said that " Seido" was killed in al-Yarmuk quarters and inside his car was found weapons and a black banner in which written was " There is no Gold But God."
In Najaf, the governor Adnan al-Zarfi stressed that the militias of the Shiite leader Muqtada al-Sader kidnapped five local police members. Al-Zarfi warned against legal measures deterring these militias.
