Israeli forces kill five Palestinians, bombard a school north of Gaza

Israeli army military helicopters fired yesterday two missiles that fell on a school near a camp for the Palestinian refugees to the north of Gaza where Israeli tanks incurred unde the pretext of preventing the Palestinian resistance from firing missiles at nearby settlements, according to witnesses.

The Israeli amry denied firing missiles by its helicopters but admitted its machineguns fire was opened at a group of gunmen while trying to install missile -launching station.

Medical sources said that no casualties were reported as a result of the Israeli attack.

Meantime, the total number of Palestinians killed in Kabalia and Beit Lahia to the north of Gaza was three including a 10 year old child. Other 30 Palestinians were injured during an incursion for the Israeli army.

Israeli tanks and armored vehicles took positions in the eastern parts of Jabalia camp while one Israeli helicopter dropped one missile at an arable land targeting a group of resistance men and many of them were injured as a result.

Meantime, one Palestinian was killed in Nablus by the occupation fire opened by an Israeli force which sneaked to the downtown of the city and the Israeli army detained 12 Palestinians in Nablus and Qalqilya including one military official of the national resistance groups, the military wing of the Democratic Front.

Due to the deteriorated security conditions in the Palestinian territories, UNRWA anounced the evacuation of most of its foreign employees from Gaza for security reasons after the incusion of the occupation forces in the depth of the northern part of the sector.

UNRWA said it will withdraw 19 of its employees as well as other 20 instructed by the end of July to leave Gaza.
