Arab trade unions voices support to Sudanese efforts to restore back stability
Regional-Sudan, Politics, 8/5/2004

The Damascus-based General Secretariat of the International Federation of Arab Trade Unions stressed support to Sudanese government to face up to the current threats, asserting solidarity with the Sudanese people and leadership's efforts to restore stability in the country.

In a statement Wednesday, the Secretariat called upon the UN, other countries and international, regional and national bodies to render efforts to halt foreign interventions in Sudan to preserve the international peace and security and limit the imposition of the uni-polar hegemony.

It also expressed confidence over the Sudanese workers and people's ability to face the foreign interventions via bolstering their national unity and restoring stability to the country.
