EU concern over Israeli expansion in Palestine

European Union expressed concern over the decision of the Israeli government to expand settlement of Adomin near Jerusalem by building more than 600 settlement units.
In a statement published today in Brussels, the Dutch Presidency of the EU, said that the new Israeli measure is completely contradicting principles of the Roadmap which Israel has been accepted its conditions.
The EU urged the Palestinians and the Israelis to be committed to the Roadmap and to the necessity to cooperate with the international Quartet Committee.
