Saudi Cabinet warns against Israeli Practices
Saudi Arabia-Palestine, Politics, 8/3/2004
Saudi Cabinet Monday warned against the repercussions of some Israeli radical plans to attack the holy mosque of al-Aqsa.
In a weekly session held in the coastal city of Jeddah chaired by Saudi Crown Prince Abdullah Ibn Abdul Aziz, the Cabinet expressed deep concern over the latest developments in the occupied Palestinian lands and the continued Israeli escalation against the Palestinian people.
It condemned the Israeli government plan to set up an Israeli settlement to the East of the occupied Jerusalem city for about 55000 settlers in addition to annexing some Palestinian villages.
The council urged the international community in general and the Quartet Committee in particular to put an end to the Israeli aggressive policies.
