Saudi FM deplores Israeli practices against the Palestinians

Saudi Arabia's Foreign Minister, Prince Saud al-Faisal, on Sunday condemned the continued Israeli escalation on the Palestinian people and the policies of the Israeli government which aim at changing the realities on the ground and setting up new settlements to the east of the occupied Jerusalem.
In a press conference held in the Saudi coastal city of Jeddah, Faisal strongly denounced an Israeli plan to take over 40.000 m from Arab lands occupied in 1967 and set up new settlements in addition to annexing a number of Palestinian villages.
He urged the international community and the Quartet Committee to put an end to the Israeli aggressive and provocative policies.
