Saudi government criticize John Kerry over criticizing it

The Saudi Arabian government strongly criticized the candidate of the Democratic party for the American Presidential elections John Kerry over criticising the Saudi ruling family in his speech to accepting nomination for these elections, when he called on Washington not to depend on the Saudi oil.
One official at the Saudi embassy in Washington said that the attack against his country is part of the energy policy. He aded that Saudi Arabia is a reliable exporters of oil to the American market since decades, stressing that this role will continue whether Kerry wins the elections or not.
Worthy mentioning that relations between the two countries witnesses tension following September 11 events carried out by 19 persons with most of them are Saudis. Moreover, Washington accused several persons from the Saudi ruling family of supporting al-Qaida organization activities led by Osama Bin Laden.
Personal and financial relations between the Saudi royal family and the US President GeorgeW. Bush and his family were criticized in books and in Film 9/11 Fahrenheit by the American film maker Michael Moore.
