Spanish FM in Morocco to discuss Sahara issue

Spanish Foreign Minister, Miguel Angel Moratinos, is due Sunday in Morocco where he will discuss with Moroccan officials the prospects of an agreement between parties in the Sahara conflict, Spanish agency EFE reported on Wednesday.
Spain has recently been playing a more active role in an attempt to put an end to the Sahara dispute opposing Morocco to the Algeria-backed Polisario guerrilla movement that is claiming the separation of Morocco's southern provinces, known as the Sahara.
