Moroccan Ambassador Interview on Syria- Morocco joint follow up committee

The Syrian-Moroccan follow up committee is to hold a meeting next September to see inked agreements implementation and prepare to the Higher Joint Committee headed by leaders of the both countries holding as soon as possible, Morocco's ambassador in Syria on Friday said.
On Morocco's National Day, Abdul Wahaab Balouqi told SANA that economic and trade ties between the two states are matching the growing political relations based on coordination and consultation between the two states on the issues of mutual concern.
He stressed his country's principled stand towards the restoration of the occupied Golan in line with the international resolutions and Madrid terms of reference, pointing out that Syria and Morocco are rendering intensified efforts to realize just and comprehensive peace in the region.
He also underlined the two countries' support to the Palestinian people to restore their usurped rights and establish an independent state with Jerusalem as its capital.
Balouqi praised Syria's position regarding Arab issues and the international community, asserting that the Syrian movement aims at mobilizing Arab capacities to face challenges that target Arab states' security, unity and sovereignty.
