'Calls of distress' to help Sahel, W. African countries face locusts invasion

Maghreban and Western African countries sent, here Tuesday, a "call of distress" to the international community to help fighting locusts invasion in the Sahel and West Africa.
The call was launched by Algerian head of government, Ahmed Ouyahia, at the opening of a meeting, mustering nine west African and Maghreban countries, devoted to the elaboration of an anti-locusts strategy.
