One American soldier killed in Baghdad

Iraqi gunmen killed two multi national forces during the bloody confrontations in al-Anbar governorate to the west of Baghdad, that also resulted in forcing two warplanes to land forcibly.

A spokesman for the American army in Baghdad said that forces of the Marines clashed with Iraqi armed men in various areas of al-Anbar governorate yesterday.

The reports explained that preliminary reports indicated that two members of the multi national forces were killed and two warplanes were forced to land. The nationality of the two soldiers was not revealed, nor the type of the planes or whether the two soldiers were killed during the landing of the plane.
