Jordanians, Pakistanis kidnapped in Iraq

One Iraqi armed group said that its had kidnapped two Jordanian drivers. Another Iraqi group calling itself "The Islamic army in Iraq " said it kidnapped two Pakistanis and one Iraqi working for a Kuwaiti company.

In a video tape, the group said that one of the Pakistanis is working as a technicians for the American forces and the second is working a driver for it, while the Iraqi is working as a driver for transporting food stuffs to hotels inhabited by the Americans.

The video tape said that investigations with the two Pakistanis were completed and were sentenced to death while the Iraqi citizen is still under interrogation.

The tape warned the Kuwaiti al-Tamimi company that the fate of its employees will be like the Pakistanis unless it stops its activities in Iraq.

In a later development for the file of the hostages a group holding seven foreign hostages in Iraq said it postponed the date of the grace period given for negotiations that will be conducive to protecting the life of the hostages.

The group which names itself " the contingent of the secret Islamic army ( Katebat al-Jeish al- Islami al-Serri) assigned Sheikh Hisham al-Duleimi to negotiate in its name with the company for which the hostages are working. They are three Indians, three Kenyans and one Egyptian.

The group renewed its demands to " paying compensations for Falluja martyrs, compensate women who were raped in Abu Ghreib jails, pay compensations for the families of detainees in all American jails in Iraq and releasing the Iraqis held in Kuwait and commitment to work for the release of the group accused to recruit Mujahidee Khalq in Iraq."
