Al-Shara confers with Italian official

Syria's Foreign Minister Farouk al-Shara on Sunday received Undersecretary of Italian Foreign Minister for the Middle East and North Africa Affairs Sen. Alfredo Mantica and the accompanying delegation.
Talks during the meeting dealt with the latest situations in the region, particularly in Iraq and the occupied Palestinian lands as well as the importance of the European role towards issues of the region.
