Chirac discusses with members of his government co-operation with Algeria

France's President Jacque Chirac held a special meeting with members of his government attended by the prime minister Pierre Ravarab and ministers representing 15 sectors, in order to define a work plan that aims at implementing the special cooperation agreement signed between France and Algeria.
The meeting -- which also aims at drawing the friendship agreement that will be signed in 2005 in crowning cooperation between the two countries -- was attended by the ministers of economy, the foreign affairs, the interior and defense.
This meeting, however, is considered the second of its kind following the meeting held in July 2003 following the commitment made during the visit held by Chirac in March 2003 to ensure continuity of cooperation projects signed between the two countries.
The Algerian President Abdul Aziz Butaflika presided a similar meeting included the ministers who were assigned to supervise items of the agreement and following up projects fall in the course of Algerian- French cooperation.
