Abizaid commends the role of Kuwait

The commander of the American central region John Abizaid commended during his visit to Kuwait where he had arrived on Thursday in the course of his tour in the Gulf region to the " unlimited Kuwaiti support for the American forces."

He renewed his regret towards the situation of the Iraqi borders opened " with each of Syria and Iran."

In statements to the press, Abizaid commended following his meeting with the Kuwaiti defense minister Sheikh Jaber al-Hamad the " unlimited support for the American forces by Kuwait " and its role in " supporting the region's security and stability and its efforts to keeping peace and fighting terrorism."
