Hizbullah denies American allegations of having links to al-Qiada
Lebanon-USA, Politics, 7/23/2004
The Lebanese Hizbullah party stressed that the American allegations issued by the September 11 committee on having a link between it and al-Qaida organization, are false allegations.
In a statement by the media relations department, it said " The Hizbullah party stressed earlier in several occasions and stations that the American allegations on having a link between the party and al-Qaida organization are futile and too far from reality and lack credibility," especially that what is stated by the report of the committee in this regard does not prove these allegations."
The statement added that the " persistence to get the name of the Hizbullah party involved in this case confirm the Anti American attitude against Islamic movements especially the Hizbullah party. Besides perpetuating the American- Zionist partnership in targeting the Arab nation issues under the title of fighting 'terrorism' since September 11, 2001 without giving any evidence or proof to justify the aggressive allegations."
