Syria, Turkey to build a natural gas pipeline

Syria and Turkey on Thursday signed a memo of understanding to cooperate in the natural gas field with the goal of constructing a gas pipeline.
Syria's Minister of Oil and Mineral Resources Ibrahim Haddad inked the memo from the Syrian side while The Director General of the Noroil energy company Rashid Sarhan was from the Turkish side. According to the memo, technical studies will be completed to build gas pipeline inside the Syrian and Turkish territories. It matches the Arab gas pipe line coming from Egypt.
