AL chief defends Arab causes
Regional, Politics, 7/21/2004

Arab League (AL) on Tuesday called on the international community to put pressure on Israel to commit itself to the international law, asserting that the American protection to Israel can't last for ever.

In an interview given to Sawt al-Arab Broadcast, AL Secretary General Amr Moussa said "we are making contacts with all the UN groups to win the greatest possible support to the Arab draft resolution regarding the execution of the verdict of the International Court of Justice which stipulates the illegality of the racial separation wall that Israel has built on the Palestinian territories." Moussa stressed "the importance of the Palestinian ranks for unity to face the Israeli aggressive schemes."
