Egypt's exports surge by L.E. 4.3 billion
According to a recent report released by the Central Agency for Public Mobilization and Statistics (CAPMAS), the aggregate volume of Egyptian exports to world markets reached L.E. 4.3 billion in January 2004, against L.E. 2.9 billion in January 2003. Egypt's total imports soared up to L.E. 6.5 billion in January 2004, compared to L.E. 5.4 billion in January 2003.
