Al-Houti supports refrain from negotiation with the government; Saudi Arabia deplores

Saudi Arabia denounced what it called a group of " extremists " in northern Yemen in remarks to the rebellion which is led by the Yemeni scholar Hussein Bader Eddine al-Houthi stressing support for the Yemeni government to this effect.

The Saudi news agency quoted an official source as saying that the Kingdom followed up during the past days, with pain, regrettable events in Marran mountains in Yemen, near the Saudi borders.

The source added that " stemmed from the Kingdom's policy to fighting terrorism and all violence practices, it deplores such incidents which only violate security of citizens, their stability and damage social and economic development." In Sanaa, men of religion assigned by President Ali Abdullah Saleh to maintain dialogue with what he called " mislead" among al-Houthi supporters that those " do not accept the idea of dialogue." Confrontations which started since June 20 in Yemen resulted in killing 179 persons at least, while sources close to al-Houthi said that number of killed persons reached 200.

Worthy mentioning that al-Houthi was a former parliamentarian between 1993- 1997. he is the son of one Zeidi Shiite senior clergy which constitutes the majority in Northern west Yemen.

The government accuses al-Houthi of establishing unlicensed religious centers in Saadeh and other governorates and proposed a USD 54,000 reward to detaining hi, N.
