The Palestinians deny preventing Larsen from entering the Palestinian authority areas

Palestine representative at the UN Naser al-Qidwa stressed that no decision was issued yet concerning the UN special envoy for the Middle East Terry Rod Larsen on which the Palestinian authorities announced that he is "Persona Non Grata."
In a press statement at the UN headquarters in New York, al-Qidwa said that the announcement was made in response to the criticism made by Larsen to the Palestinian president Yasser Arafat, which provoked the " rage of the Palestinian officials."
Al-Qidwa also said that Larsen had to deplore Israel because it did not implement the sentence of the International Court of Justice to dismantle the wall of separation it builds in the West Bank.
