Palestinian deputy at Israeli Knesset indicates the danger of Israeli nuclear arsenals

Palestinian Deputy at the Israeli Knesset Issam Makhoul stressed Tuesday that Israel's nuclear arsenal represents a real threat to the region and the international peace and security.

In a statement published by Jordanian newspaper of 'al-Arab al-Yawm', Makhoul said that Israel tries to blackmail the world to recognize the legality of possessing nuclear weapons, pointing out that Israel builds its strategy as part of American global bids to threaten the world.

"Israel's decision to possess two additional nuclear submarines and aircraft carrier aims at performing an international role within American framework rather than fighting Palestinian resistance movements," he added.

Makhoul called for making use of Director General of IAEA Mohammad al-Baradi's latest visit to Israel to raise the issue of the Israeli nuclear arsenal internationally to press it to sign the Non-Proliferation agreement and accept inspection of its nuclear facilities.
