Sheikh Qaradawi retaliates his critics, London will not sue him
Regional-UK, Politics, 7/10/2004

Sheikh Youssef Qaradawi reacted in a strong tone, in a sermon he made at London's central mosque yesterday against persons who criticized the visit he is making to Britain.

Qaradawi who refused to meet with the press questioned if those who stood against him had read his books and learnt his positions. He said " I extend a message to those who criticize me.. Do they know me ? Did they read my works.. And why they do not search for the reality of my words instead of criticizing me."

Chairman of the British police ( Scotland Yard) Jones Stevens said on Thursday that the police is monitoring Qaradawi after A British- Jewish organization filed a complaint against him. He added that the police handed over a file to the attorney general concerning Qaradawi, but the latter announced yesterday that all items stated in the files are not enough to start suing Sheikh Qaradawi.
