Ten Palestinians killed, five Israelis wounded; International court of Justice discusses the separation wall today

The International Court of Justice which has the Hague as a headquarters will issue today its consultative view over the legality of the separation wall built by Israel in the West Bank.
The Israeli daily Haartez said that the court will order demolishing the wall and compensate the Palestinians after it will sentence the illegality of the wall and its violations of the international law.
The paper quoted documents it had got that the wall undermines the rights of the Palestinians and that building it constitutes a violation of its commitment towards the International Humanitarian law. The court, according to information of the paper, expressed non conviction of the security justifications given by Israel to build the wall. The decision was supported by 14 judges and the only opposing judge was the American judge.
The Palestinian prime minister Ahmad Qurei' said that the decision will be invested to increase the international pressure to halt building the wall. It is expected that the Palestinians will welcome the decision of the court in its being a message from the international community to Tel Aviv to stop this project which they consider as a preceding measure to decide the borders of the next Palestinian state and an attempt to confiscate more Palestinian lands.
At the field level, one Palestinian was killed by the occupation forces in the Palestinian Hijja village to the west of Nablus to the north of the West Bank.
Palestinian security sources said that Muhammad Kahmis Rube ( 22 year old) was killed by the Israeli bullets while he was inside his car and another Palestinian Ramy Batta ( 20 year old) was hit in his head.
Meantime, al-Quds groups, the military wing of the Islamic Jihad movement claimed responsibility for the attack which targeted one Israeli military vehicle near Morag settlement and resulted in wounding five Israeli soldiers including two army generals to the south of Gaza.
A statement by the movement said that the attack came as a retaliation to an Israeli raid resulted on Thursday in killing Hamid Abu Odeh ( 22 year old), the field leader of al- Quds group inside Beit Hanoun to the north of Gaza and the killing of other 9 Palestinians in the raid.
