Syrian- Turkish relations highlighted

Chairman of the Turkish - Syrian Parliamentarian Friendship Association, Yuksil Jawish Uglo has stressed the remarkable development of the Syrian-Turkish relations particularly following President Bashar al-Assad's visit to Turkey early this year.
In a statement to SANA Correspondent in Ankara, Uglo added that President al-Assad's visit has positively influenced the course of bilateral relations, because President al-Assad's policy is adopting overture to the whole world including Turkey and the countries of the European Union.
He stressed that President al-Assad gives high priority to peace and stability in the region on the basis of international legality and the principles of right and justice, pointing out to the reciprocal high level visits between the two countries this year, an evidence of rapprochement between the two countries.
Uglo underlined the overall development process Syria is currently witnessing in all fields. He also stressed Turkey's opposition to the US sanctions against Syria and expressed solidarity with Syria.
