Egyptian Newspaper criticizes Israel ' armament policy
Egypt-Israel, Politics, 7/7/2004
The Egyptian Newspaper al-Jomhuriah condemned Israel's rejection to allow the General Director of the International Atomic Energy Agency IAEA Mohammad al-Baradi to visit Dimona reactor in al-Naqab desert, asserting that this step confirms Israel's unwillingness to join the Non-Proliferation Agreement and care to keep its nuclear weapons as a blackmail card.
In its commentary Tuesday, the newspaper denounced Washington's double-standard policy regarding this issue, pointing out that America threatens many countries under the pretext of possessing weapons of mass destruction at the time it supports Israel despite possessing a great arsenal of chemical and germs weapons.
