Lahoud confers with Polish peer
Lebanon-Poland, Politics, 7/6/2004

Lebanese President Emile Lahoud Monday said Lebanon had decided to liberate its lands depending on the Lebanese national resistance and the strategic relations with Syria.

During a press conference with his Polish counterpart Aleksander Kwasniewski, following talks in Warsaw and published by the Lebanese National Information Agency, Lahoud said Lebanon is still adhering to the necessity of implementing international resolutions in order to achieve the just and comprehensive peace in the region.

Lebanese President called for a dialogue inside UN to implement those resolutions in order to find a solution that restores the occupied Arab lands and ensures the right to return for the Palestinian refugees.

Kwasniewski, for his part, said Poland seeks to restore stability to the Middle East and Iraq, adding that his country backs every positive step that contributes to restoring stability to the region.
