Three of al-Houthi guards were killed, Government's committee talks his detained supporters

One official in Sada governorate to the north of Yemen said that three of the guards and escorts of the Yemeni scholar Hussein Bader Eddine al-Houthi were injured during the clashes which took place yesterday between his followers and the army forces which escalated operations against the headquarters of the rebellion in Marran mountains, while the western side of al-Malahiz area is witnessin a strong bombardment by missiles and artillery to the fortifications behind which al-Houthi supporters are hiding.
Sources close to al-Houthi said that number of killing behind the clashes reached 200, and security sources said that nine police men were killed and other 10 injured.
" September 26" paper quoted officials in Sadah governorate as saying that large number of al-Houthi followers, who had been for the past days fighting with him and currently besieged in Marran mountain showed their readiness to surrender themselves to the state authorities.
The paper quoted the commander of the region where the clashes are taking place Maj. Gen. Ali Mohsin Saleh that what is made by the security and armed foces does not target any of the social groups, regardless to their political or intellectual inclination and are directed at no one except al-Houthi.
On the other hand, an official source in Sanaa announced that the Yemeni President Ali Abdullah Saleh formed a committee chaired by judge Hammoud al-Hattar called " intellectual dialogue committee." Al-Hattar said " the committee started dialogue with al-Houthi followers and that since last Monday two sessions of dialogue were held with 220 of the detainees in Sanaa in order to discuss them and aleniate them from extremist thinking.
