Occupation authority desolves, Bremer leaves Iraq

Syrian court sentences the imprisonment of seven Kurds
The Syrian higher state security court today issued imprisonment sentences ranging between one and two years against seven years who were detained one year ago during a demonstration in the Syrian capital Damascus. The trial session was attended by foreign diplomats including Americans and others from the European Union in addition to 10 lawyers.

American delegation arrives in Libya to assess its support for terrorism
An American delegation composed of the US under secretary of state for the Middle East affairs William Burns and coordinator of terrorism fighting at the state department Kofer Black arrived in Libya on Sunday in a two day visit in order to assess whether Tripoli is still sponsoring terrorism.
