Burns: Israeli Gaza pull out pushes peace forward

"The potential Israeli withdrawal from the Gaza Strip is an opportunity to push forward the peace process and paves the way for a two-state solution," U.S. Middle East envoy William Burns said on Saturday.
Speaking to reporters on the sidelines of his visit to Jordan as part of a multi-leg regional tour, Burns said the Gaza pull out should serve as a stepping stone to the implementation of the internationally-backed roadmap.
