Inter- Sudanese negotiations resumed

Representatives for the Sudanese government and the people's movement for the liberation of Sudan ( southern rebels) on Sunday in Nivasha resumed their peace talks in order to put the final touches on the peace agreements reached in May so as to end the longest civil war in Africa.
Negotiators described the atmospheres of the talks as positive and optimistic. The mediator of IGAD, the Kenyan Lazaros Sombyo expected reaching acceptance of the security measures details between the two sides on July 17 or 19, he indicated that the round of negotiations does not include the chairman of the people's movement for the liberation of Sudan, John Garang, nor the Sudanese Vice President ,Ali Othman Muhammad Taha.
