Italy is against the separation of Moroccan southern provinces and believes in the need to find a negotiated solution to the Sahara dispute, said, in Rabat Thursday, visiting Speaker of the Italian senate, Marcello Pera.

This conflict is "mainly between Morocco and Algeria," said Pera, during a meeting with Speaker of the Moroccan House of Advisors, Mustapha Oukacha.
