Sudanese inter-peace talks resumed on Friday

The secretary of the Sudanese foreign ministry Mutarraf Siddiq said yesterday that the negotiations between the government and the people's movement for the liberation of Sudan led by John Garang will be resumed on June 25 and will continue until July 19.
The Sudanese official daily al-Anbaa quoted Siddiq, the member in the government negotiation delegations that this round will concentrate on "separation between the forces, the formation of the joint forces and the mechanism of monitoring, the volume of these forces, places of their deployment, which are all protocols composing the cease fire protocol." He added that the " two sides will discuss final arrangements of the last appendix on implementing all protocols."
He added that the final signature of a comprehensive peace agreement will be by the end of August and beginning of September." Saddiq explained that the government and the people's movement will hold a workshop in Kenya on June 22 through 25 aims at " enlightening the two sides on ceasing fire, in the presence of military experts representing the two sides."
