Turkish national elected OIC secretary general

The Organization of the Islamic Conference (OIC) elected on Tuesday Turkey's Ekmel Eddin Ihsanoglu as its new secretary general.
After a four-hour meeting, the senior representatives of the Islamic grouping decided to hold a voting to name the new chief after failing to reach a consensus.
