Egyptian parliamentarians protest over preventing them from visiting detainees

Some 14 members in the Egyptian parliament protested at the speaker of the parliament Fatehi Sorour over the decision taken by the attorney general to ban their visit to detainees of the Muslim Brothers members who said they were tortured in jails.

News reports in Cairo quoted the chairman of the Muslim Brothers bloc at the parliament, Muhammad Mursi, that the parliamentary committee will submit to the speaker of the parliament a report including what its 14- member heard during their first visit on the police men violations against several detainees.
