Turkish ambasador to Israel returns back to office
Turkey-Israel, Politics, 6/12/2004
A spokesman for the Turkish embassy in Israel said that the Turkish ambassador to Israel returned back to his work office after he was summoned by Ankara for consultations because of the tension of relations between the two countries.
The Turkish prime minister Receb Erdogan strongly criticized Israel because of its attacks against the Palestinians, while the Turkish foreign minister Abdullah Gull announced that the ambassador will be summoned for investigations, but the two Turkish officials said that the criticism will not affect the excellent trade relations between the two sides.
The spokesman for the embassy said that ambassador Frodon Oglo returned back to his work office after he was summoned by Ankara for consultations. The spokesman described Oglo's consultations in Ankara as " very positive."
