Suleiman to visit Ramullah and Tel Aviv by the end of June

Chief of the Egyptian intelligence Lt. gen. Omar Suleiman will hold talks in Ramullah and Tel Aviv by the end of June dealing with the Israeli separation plan to withdraw from Gaza and the Egyptian initiative, while the first batch of Egyptian security experts are expected to arrive in Gaza in October in order to start rehabilitation of the Palestinian security forces.
The Egyptian daily al-Ahram wrote that Suleiman will head by the end of the current month, June, to Ramullah and Tel Aviv in order to meet with the Palestinian President Yasser Arafat and the Israeli President Ariel Sharon in order to ensure following up the Egyptian initiative and the Israeli withdrawal from Gaza. Al-Ahram said that during the coming 9th month before the beginning of the Israeli withdrawal from Gaza, due in March 2005, " intensive negotiations relating on reforming the Palestinian authority establishments and details on the missions of the Egyptian experts and means of ensuring their safety " during their deployment in Gaza are stated in the Egyptian initiative.
AL-Ahram added "the first batch of the Egyptian security team will arrive in Gaza after November in order to re-organize the Palestinian security departments."
Meantime, Palestinian medical and security sources said the Israeli forces killed one Palestinian resistance man yesterday early morning in confrontation during a raid for the Israeli army in Jenin. The sources added that one resistance man in al-Aqsa martyrs group of the Fatah movement was killed while other five were detained. The Israeli army also carried out a campaign of arrest in the towns of Abu Daeif, Ratntis, al-Aroub and Souref including 22 Palestinians.
Yestreday evening the occupation army detained one Palestinian and four men invited to his wedding after they cordoned the wedding hall in Ramullah. The Israeli army also destroyed four Palestinian houses in Beit Hanoun to the north of Gaza.
Meanwhile, the citizens of al-Zaweyah town continued for the four running day their confrontation of the occupation forces which guard the bulldozers working in levelling their lands to install the wall of separation. Witnesses said the occupation forces used tear gas against the protesters and this resulted in the safocation of scores of them.
